The new fuel station is operated under the Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO) programme and is along Bagamoyo road—the major highway that vehicles use to travel to up-country regions—Tanga, Moshi and Arusha.

Speaking during an event to inaugurate the new fuel station, the company’s Managing Director Jean Francois Schoepp said the launch of the station was a milestone towards reaching every Tanzanian with Total Energies services and welcomed potential partners to franchise with the company.

“We are very happy to extend our partnership with Jackson Swai who is the dealer and owner of the station, with this collaboration; we look forward to supplying Mapinga and its neighbouring communities with our products and expanding our footprint further,” the MD said.

He added, “We hope that such partnership and developments will entice even more businessmen and women to franchise with TotalEnergies and join the network of the leading fuel marketing company in Tanzania. For this I would like to invite all potential businessmen and women to franchise with TotalEnergies.”

He commended the company’s customers for their loyalty to the company making it the number one fuel company in the country.

“We’re filled with gratitude for our customers’ loyalty and genuine support. We promise to always serve you with the best quality products and services as well as keep striving to reach out to every Tanzanian and we welcome you to share your opinions with us so that we can serve you best,” he said, expressing his excitement to franchise with TotalEnergies through the programme.

On his part, Swai said: “I have been a partnerned with TotalEnergies as a distributor of lubricants for some years and today I am so grateful for the opportunity to expand our partnership by becoming the company’s dealer through the DODO programme.

“I am proud to own a TotalEnergies service station, being part of the number one fuel company in the country and a brand that is well recognized and trusted by customers. Since we started rebranding the station with the TotalEnergies logo, customers have been eagerly stopping by to know when we would start operating and that showed me the strength of the brand,” he stated.
