The new Tanzania Investment Center (TIC) Executive Director Gilead Teri has pledged that his management would be formulating innovative solutions that would enhance performance, efficiency and investment promotion.
Speaking for the first time since his appointment by HE. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, Teri urged increased use of technology to accelerate business processes at TIC.
He said Technology guarantees better service delivery and would boost the center’s day-to-day operations.
“Technology will provide TIC with efficient and affordable approaches to accelerate its duties”. Teri said.
Teri also appealed for effective and innovative ways in engaging with global TIC stakeholders a move that would speed up the momentum to push the investment promotion agenda.
The TIC Board Chairman Dr. Bilinith Mahenge during the meeting President Samia Suluhu Hassan for the appointment adding that the filling of the Executive Director position has completed the Board composition.
“TIC Executive Director is the board secretary, and this appointment has completed the structure of the TIC board of Directors. We can now plan and execute board’s responsibilities effectively”. Added Dr. Mahenge.
