President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed former Kilombero Sugar Company Limited Head of Corporate Affairs Ephrahim Mafuru as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).
A statement issued by the Director of Presidential Communications, Zuhura Yunus said Mafuru’s appointment was effective February 8, 2023.
Mafuru was also appointed by the President last year as a member of the Board of Directors for the Sugar Board of Tanzania.
He has over 22 years of experience in Beer & Spirits, Telecommunication and Sugar Industries
Mafuru has held various managerial position including Marketing Director at Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL), Commercial Director at Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, Group Head of Sales at Illovo Sugar Africa and Head of Corporate Affairs at Kilombero Sugar Company Limited a position he held before his new appointment.
