DCB Bank appoints Isdori Msaki Acting Managing Director
DCB Commercial Bank PLC has announced the appointment of Isdori Msaki the bank’s former Chief Manager Credit as its acting Managing Director with effect from December 5, 2022.
The appointment of Msaki follows the subsequent departure of former Managing Director Godfrey Ndalahwa with effect from December 5, 2022.
A statement issued by the bank said, “Godfrey Ndalahwa’s five years of dedicated service and leadership played a critical role in the bank’s development, transformation and success which led to significant accomplishments”
Msaki has 22 years of extensive banking experience holding senior positions in various local and international banks with key achievements in credit risk management, setting credit lending best practices, credit portfolio management, collection and recovery strategies, and general banking operations.
He has formerly worked at AKIBA Commercial Bank (T) Limited from 2000 to 2007 holding various management positions Branch Manager and Microfinance Manager, Barclays Bank Tanzania from 2007 to 2010 where he was the Head Retail Credit Underwriting; while at Barclays he managed to set up the LPC (Loan Processing Centre) in the country and also worked closely with the Barclays Group to introduce the unsecured lending application score card in Barclays Tanzania.
He also worked with NBC from 2010 to 2017 where he was Manager SME for 2 years and 5 years as Head of Retail Credit and moved from NBC to join DCB Bank PLC in October 2017 as Chief Credit Manager.
