DAR ES SALAAM — The Tanzania Green Summit 2026 has positioned the country as a meeting point for investors, businesses, policymakers and development partners exploring opportunities in Africa’s emerging green economy.

Held in Dar es Salaam, the two-day summit brought together more than 1,400 participants from Tanzania and more than 12 countries, according to the organisers. The event focused on green investment, clean energy, environmental conservation, innovation and responses to climate change.

The summit also provided a platform for businesses and investors to explore opportunities through deal rooms, exhibitions, expert sessions and strategic discussions.

The combination of policy discussions and business-focused sessions placed investment and partnerships at the centre of the summit, connecting participants around areas where capital, technology and expertise could support sustainable development.

Organisers said the international participation expanded the summit’s role as a platform linking knowledge, capital, technology and policy with opportunities in the green economy.

Tanzania Green Summit Executive Director Redemptus Caesar thanked CRDB Bank, the main sponsor, alongside government institutions, international organisations, private-sector partners, speakers, exhibitors and participants for supporting the 2026 event.

The organisers said the conclusion of this year’s summit provides a foundation for developing the platform further and creating more opportunities for partnerships between local and international stakeholders.

For Tanzania, the growing focus on green investment could create opportunities across areas such as renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, climate technology and environmental services as businesses increasingly respond to the global transition towards lower-carbon economies.
